Child, 12, Steals Parents’ Car, Crashes In West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY (KDKA) – A child escaped serious injury after stealing his parents’ car and getting into an accident in West Liberty.

According to officials, the 12-year-old crashed at the intersection of Metz Way and Pioneer Avenue.

The child is reportedly very shaken up, but isn’t hurt.

The boy’s mother was at work and he allegedly took the car with the intention of going to the rec center.

However, he ended up crashing into a brick wall.

He was taken to the Zone 6 Police Station to be reunited with his mother.
